How to View Forecasted Stockout Date of Products

Two Ways to View Forecasted Stockout Dates

Fabrikatör offers two convenient methods to check when your variants are predicted to run out of stock:

Method 1: Using the Analyse Page

  1. Navigate to the Analyse page in your Fabrikatör dashboard

  2. Click on the Edit Columns button located in the top right corner

  3. Search for and select the Forecasted Stockout Date column

  4. Click Apply to add this column to your report

  5. The report will now display the earliest predicted stockout date for each products or variants

Method 2: Using the Replenish Page

  1. Go to the Replenish page in your Fabrikatör dashboard

  2. Find the variant you're interested in

  3. Click on the Suggested Restock Quantity for that variant

  4. A detailed timeline popup will appear showing:

    • Red sections indicating forecasted stockout days

    • Blue sections showing when incoming stock will arrive

    • Green sections showing days covered by current and incoming inventory

Note: This view also provides additional context about how incoming purchase orders will affect your stock levels.

Understanding Stockout Predictions

The accuracy of forecasted stockout dates depends on:

  • The quality of your sales history data

  • Your forecasting days setting

  • Recent changes in sales velocity

For improved accuracy, ensure your forecasting days are appropriately set for each product category based on sales patterns.
