🔍 How plan thresholds work

Fabrikatör assigns subscription plans based on your store’s trailing 12-month revenue. Plan upgrades are only considered for stores that have been using Fabrikatör for at least 3 months. This ensures that the revenue data is meaningful and reflects actual usage.

For example:

  • If your revenue over the past 12 months reaches $1.6M, and your current plan covers up to $1.5M, your store qualifies for the next plan tier.

  • You will be prompted for a plan upgrade after your third month with Fabrikatör.

⚙️ What happens when I pass the revenue threshold?

When your store’s trailing 12-month revenue exceeds the upper limit of your current plan, and your account has been active for at least 3 months, here’s what happens:

  1. You’ll be notified by our team (in-app or via email).

  2. You’ll be asked to review and accept a new plan that reflects your current scale.

  3. You’ll have 14 days to approve the new plan through your Shopify Admin.

  4. Once approved, the updated subscription will take effect immediately.

💡 Nothing changes automatically. Your plan will only be updated once you approve the change through Shopify.

🛑 What happens if I don’t take action?

If no action is taken within the 14-day window:

  • Your access to Fabrikatör may be paused until the updated subscription is confirmed.

We’ll send reminders and offer support before that point to avoid disruption.

🧾 What if I’m on an annual plan?

If you’re on an active annual subscription, no changes will be applied until the end of your term.

At the end of your annual cycle:

  • Your revenue will be reviewed again

  • You’ll be asked to confirm the appropriate plan for your scale at that time

🤔 What if I believe the revenue doesn’t reflect my business?

If your 12-month revenue includes:

  • One-off spikes

  • Temporary campaigns

  • Periods of unusual growth that are no longer relevant
