Does Fabrikatör sync Purchase Orders from Shopify?

Fabrikatör does not sync Purchase Orders from Shopify. This is due to limitations in Shopify's API — Shopify does not support reflecting incoming inventory from purchase orders to third-party apps.

If you have existing Purchase Orders in Shopify that you'd like to migrate to Fabrikatör, we've built a free tool to help.

Shopify PO Exporter — Free Chrome Extension

Shopify PO Exporter is a free Chrome extension built by Fabrikatör that lets you export any Shopify Purchase Order to a professionally formatted XLSX or CSV file with one click.

What gets exported?

The extension captures all PO details including:

  • PO number, status, and supplier name

  • Destination, payment terms, and estimated arrival

  • Shipping carrier, tracking number, and reference number

  • Complete line item details (product name, variant, SKU, supplier SKU, quantities, unit cost, tax rate, and line total)

  • Subtotal, taxes, shipping costs, and total amount

How does the XLSX export look?

The XLSX export includes three sheets:

  • Summary — An overview of the entire Purchase Order with header info, shipment details, and financial totals.

  • Line Items — A comprehensive table of every product on the PO with properly formatted columns and calculated totals.

  • Receiving Report — A view showing items that still need to be received, useful for warehouse coordination.

How to use it

  1. Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store.

  2. Navigate to any Purchase Order detail page in your Shopify admin.

  3. Click the Shopify PO Exporter icon in your browser toolbar.

  4. Choose your export format — XLSX or CSV.

  5. Click Export and your file downloads instantly.

Compatibility

  • Works with Google Chrome

  • Compatible with all Shopify plans (Basic, Shopify, Advanced, Plus)

  • Supports Purchase Orders in Ordered and Partial status

  • Handles POs of any size (tested with 500+ line items)
