Fabrikatör's restock quantity suggestions are based on various scenarios. Let's explore how it suggests restock quantities in different cases:

Case 1: Product Has Enough Stock to Cover Days of Stock

  • Forecasting Days: 60 days with average daily sales of 0.33 units/day

  • Lead Time: 15 days

  • Days of Stock: 30 days

  • Current Stock Count: 970 units

  • Recommended Restock: 0 units

    • Because the product will be in stock during the days of stock. Hovering over 10 June will display the end of stock count.


Case 2: Product in Stock with Incoming PO

  • Forecasting Days: 60 days with average daily sales of 0.33 units/day

  • Lead Time: 43 days

  • Days of Stock: 45 days

  • Current Stock Count: 132 units

  • Recommended Restock: 157 units

    • Because the product will be in stock during the lead time. However, it will be out of stock during the days of stock if not restocked. Hovering over 23 July will display the end of stock count.

Case 3: Product is partially in stock during Days of stock and has Incoming PO

  • Forecasting Days: 60 days with average daily sales of 0.33 units/day

  • Lead Time: 15 days

  • Days of Stock: 45 days

  • Current Stock Count: 132 units

  • Recommended Restock: 59 units

    • Because the product will be in stock during the lead time and partially in stock during the days of stock. But there will be some days during the days of stock period when the product will be out of stock.Hovering over 25 Julne will display the end of stock count.

Case 4: Product is out of stock during lead time

  • Forecasting Days: 60 days with average daily sales of 5.47 units/day

  • Lead Time: 60 days

  • Days of Stock: 40 days

  • Current Stock Count: 229 units

  • Recommended Restock: 229 units

    • Because the product will be partially out of stock during the lead time and completely out of stock during the days of stock. You cannot cover the out of stock days during the lead time, but you can cover the days of stock period. Hovering over 4 August will display the end of stock count.
