In Fabrikatör, in addition to setting Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs) at the variant level, you can also set MOQs at the Product Group level. Here’s how it works:
Product Group Level MOQ
What It Means:
• Product Group: This is a collection of related products, such as “The Slim Fit Jeans.”
• Options: Different styles or colors within the product group, like HUTTON GREY and BRITISH KHAKI.
• Variants: Specific sizes or configurations for each option, such as 28, 29, 30, etc.
Example:
• Product Group: The Slim Fit Jeans
• Options: HUTTON GREY and BRITISH KHAKI
• Variants per Option: 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33
How Product Level MOQ Works:
• Set MOQ: If you set a Product Group MOQ of 1000, this means the total quantity of all variants combined across all options in this group must meet or exceed 1000 units.
• Warning Displayed: If the total quantity of the variants is less than 1000, Fabrikatör will display a warning on the PO edit and create screens.
• No Warning: If the total quantity is 1000 or more, no warning will be displayed.
Current Limitations and Roadmap:
• Automatic MOQ Application: Currently, Fabrikatör does not automatically apply MOQs for Product Groups, but this feature is on our roadmap for future updates.
• Setting Product MOQs: Setting Product MOQs is not available in the product page (PP). If you need to set these, please provide your Product Group MOQs using the specified sheet format.
By setting MOQs at the Product Group level, you ensure that you are ordering in bulk efficiently, which can help in managing inventory and minimizing stockouts.
