In Fabrikatör, in addition to setting Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs) at the variant level, you can also set MOQs at the Product Option level. Here’s how it works:

Product Option Level MOQ

What It Means:

Product Group: A collection of related products, such as “The Slim Fit Jeans.”

Options: Different styles or colors within the product group, like HUTTON GREY and BRITISH KHAKI.

Variants: Specific sizes or configurations for each option, such as 28, 29, 30, etc.

Example:

Product Group: The Slim Fit Jeans

Options: HUTTON GREY and BRITISH KHAKI

Variants per Option: 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33

How Product Option MOQ Works:

Set MOQ: If you set a Product Option MOQ of 250 for the HUTTON GREY option within “The Slim Fit Jeans” Product Group, the total quantity of all variants (sizes) under HUTTON GREY must meet or exceed 250 units.

Warning Displayed: If the total quantity for the HUTTON GREY option is less than 250, Fabrikatör will display a warning on the PO edit and create screens.

No Warning: If the total quantity for the HUTTON GREY option is 250 or more, no warning will be displayed.

Current Limitations and Roadmap:

Automatic MOQ Application: Currently, Fabrikatör does not automatically apply MOQs for Product Options, but this feature is on our roadmap for future updates.

Setting Product MOQs: Setting Product MOQs is not available directly in the product page (PP). If you need to set these, please provide your Product Option MOQs using the specified sheet format.

By setting MOQs at the Product Option level, you ensure efficient bulk ordering, which can help in managing inventory and minimizing stockouts.

Note: Product Option MOQ refers specifically to the MOQ for variants within a particular product group option. It does not apply to setting an MOQ for a color or variant across all products in your catalog.
