It's quite often to add new products to your inventory. When you have new products on your inventory, you have to set up your supplier information in order to create purchase orders and forecast out-of-stocks for these new products.
💡 Tip: If you'd rather not manage this manually for every new product, you can enable Auto-sync vendors from Shopify under Settings → Inventory Planning Settings. With this on, new products synced from Shopify are matched to suppliers automatically (and a one-time catch-up runs over your existing catalog the first time you enable it). See Matching suppliers and products for details.
Here's how to identify products missing supplier information:
Products Page:
Visit the "Products" page in Fabrikatör.
Click on the "Missing Suppliers" tab to see which products haven't been assigned to any suppliers yet. You can also directly access this tab through this link.
The Missing Suppliers tab displays products that have not yet been assigned to any suppliers. Once you assign a product to a supplier, it will automatically disappear from this list.
2. Product Setup Required" widget
Alternatively, you can use the "Product Setup Required" widget located under the Control Center. This widget provides a quick overview of how many products are currently missing supplier assignments. Clicking "Set Now" will redirect you to the Missing Suppliers Tab, where you can assign suppliers to these products.
