  1. Find the backorders that you want to reactivate. You can check the "How to find backorders?" article to learn how to find backorders.

  2. Select the backorders you want to reactivate.

    1. You can use their corresponding checkbox to select a backorder.

    2. You can also select the topmost checkbox to toggle the selection of backorders on the page.

    3. Don’t forget that you can still change the filter or the page number. Selected checkboxes remain checked on these actions.

    4. You can use deselect all button to clear selection across all pages.

    5. The number near the bulk edit button indicates the selected backorder count.

  3. Click the bulk edit button to see the reactivate button.

  4. A modal appears to confirm your request. Click reactivate button if you are sure.

  5. Due to the selected backorder count this action may take some time if the count is high. You can see the progress from the progress bar in the modal.

  6. After completion of bulk edit, a summary appears in the modal. In the summary, you can see the number of reactivated backorder counts. Also, you can see the number of backorders that we couldn’t reactivate and their reasons.

When can’t we reactivate a backorder?

We cannot reactivate a backorder if one of the following reasons remains:

  • All items in the purchase order of backorder are sold
